Yoga is not defined by a headstand.
Yoga is not defined by something you “do”.
Yoga is something you experience.
“Yogas citta vrtti nirodhah."
If you can control the rising of the mind into ripples, you will experience Yoga. - The Yoga Sutras of Patnjali
Coming from years of high-intensity training and pushing myself through the weeks with coffee, sugar and more coffee, I became a total stranger to the voice of my body.
Yoga was the well-needed, playful bridge for me to return to my body and re-learn its language.
For me, Yoga is all about the joy of feeling your body move; the curiosity of exploring new perspectives and let your body express itself in a voice different from words.
Even when you use the practice of yoga only for its physical parts, the asanas, you will feel its effect on your mind and body after class. It is not just the toning of the body that makes you come back to it over and over again. You start to experience yoga.
I am available for private classes ranging from dynamic Vinyasa (in its strong flow and slow flow variation), to more static hatha-yoga and calm yin-yoga and restorative yoga-styles.
Classes individually tailored to your needs are always possible. For example. Have you ever tried a restorative flow or yin-yan yoga?

Do you want to experience yoga on the next level?
Are you ready to break the chains of the ‘normal’ yoga class consisting mostly of adding one Asana to the next?
Do you want to experience deeper levels of yourself and your body, facilitated through aspects of yoga?
Do you want to go deeper?
Yoga is more than the physical movement of the body. Because it allows the body to express itself in a language different than words, its applications can go far beyond the aspects of fitness: Yoga has the potential to support you on your healing journey. After following years of classical talking-based therapy. I now switched my focus to an embodied approach in my on therapy-approach, where I combine aspects of therapy, breathwork, mantras and yoga-practice for a unique approach to befriending the shadow-parts of your being.
